Matthijs Wouter Knol has worked as creative and associate producer of numerous award-winning documentary films, before forming part of the senior Berlinale team. He was Head of Programming of Berlinale Talents, and Director of the European Film Market. Since 2021, he has taken over the reins at the European Film Academy.
