Stefan Ivančić (SFR Yugoslavia, 1985) lived in Barcelona, Spain, from 1991 to 2009. He studied film directing at the Faculty of Dramatic Arts, Belgrade. His short film Soles de primavera (2013) had its international première at FID Marseille and was selected at IFF Rotterdam, Torino Film Festival, San Sebastian International Film Festival and Seville European Film Festival, among many others. His documentary 1973 (2014) had its première at Visions du Réel (Nyon, Switzerland) and his film Moonless Summer (2014) was selected for the Festival de Cannes, Cinéfondation selection. His films have received a great number of national and international awards. Stefan is a producer of the feature film The Load by Ognjen Glavonic, a project supported by the CNC, Visions Sud Est, the Hubert Bals Fund and Eurimages. He is working as an assistant professor at the Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Belgrade and is the head of programming of Pančevo Film Festival in Serbia. He lives and works in Belgrade.
