Graduated in History of Cinema and Aesthetics from the University of Lausanne, Tizian Büchi worked as a programmer at several film festivals including Neuchâtel International Fantastic Film Festival and he was responsible for the French-speaking part of Switzerland for Look Now! Distribution in Zurich. In 2017 he received a master’s degree in Direction from the Institut des Arts de Diffusion in Belgium and worked as an assistant to the Cinema/Cinema of Reality department of HEAD Geneva. His short films have been selected and won awards at numerous international festival and on visual anthropology programs. After La saison du silence (2016), he continues his engaging journey in the Jura with a radio feature and the writing of a feature film for the cinema.
