The tallest building in Europe is built in Milan during the economic boom. In the Meridian that everyone is abandoning, in August 1961, a group of young speleologists visits the Calabrian plateau. There, under the look of an old shepherd, the only witness of an untouched territory, they discover one of the deepest caves of the world, the Abisso del Bifurto of the Pollino massif.
