Alexandre Haldemann is a young Swiss filmmaker, born in 1995 in Geneva. In 2016, he took part in the Rio Olympics in swimming, then reoriented towards an artistic career. In 2017, he started a Bachelor’s degree in cinema at the HEAD in Geneva. The discovery of Philippe Grandrieux and Scott Barley’s films left a deep impression on him, leading the way to a singular and experimental practice. His exploration of cinema through his studies – in full discovery mode – is sensory, volatile and cosmic.
