E del Mundo is a theater scholar and completed an MFA in film under the mentorship of Brett Ratner. She directed the controversial series Manilennials (2019), an LGBTQ+ dark comedy set in Manila when Duterte came to power. Her VR project The Warship competed in the 2017 Biennale College Cinema – VR. Her short Man of Pa’aling won Best Director at the Cinemalaya film festival and the Jury Prize at Fribourg IFF. Her feature project Thanatos received an award from FOCAL Resource at TorinoFilmLab.
