Brazilian director Juliana Rojas and producer Sara Silveira, who are presenting Cidade; Campo in The Films After Tomorrow, will take part in a discussion on the theme of work with alumni of the Locarno Industry Academy and the Industry Academy International. Is cinema a business like any other? The aim is to consider how the various actors who create and distribute films work, both alone and together, forming an ecosystem with a fragile balance that was deeply affected by the pandemic. This project also includes texts written by several alumni of the Industry Academy. The aim is to account for the diverse realities faced by young professionals in this period, shaken by real and profound changes, inviting everyone to search for other ways of working, or even to fully reinvent themselves.
