When the shop where he works offers a prize for the best publicity stunt, Harold convinces the manager that he will climb a Los Angeles skyscraper. An acrobat friend is meant to take his place, but is stopped by the police. Harold then faces the dizzying climb alone. This most beloved film starring Harold Lloyd, a spectacular model of comedy and a acute reflection on American urban frenzy.
