Naples, 1986/87, the season of the first Scudetto. The inhabitants of a suburban building live the last few months before making room for an overpass that will connect them to the center. On the second floor lives Anna, prisoner of her mother’s expectations. She plays the keyboard and the music that comes out of the window marks the difference between her and the rest of the courtyard.

Piano Piano is a story with strong fairy-tale features that gently merges with an hyperrealistic plot. Based on true facts that happened in Naples in 1987, it’s my first feature film.
