Un’inondazione obbliga i poliziotti che hanno in custodia una ragazza condannata a morte a fermarsi in un convento isolato. Una delle monache si persuade dell’innocenza della donna. Intrigo poliziesco, dall’atmosfera notturna, in un luogo chiuso in cui si scontrano personaggi dall’identità ambigua.
