La querelle conjugale d’un couple bourgeois tourne mal. Ils sont décidés à divorcer. En quatre flashbacks contradictoires, les protagonistes donnent chacun leur version des faits. La bande-sonore du film n’a pas été conservée, mais la découverte des dialogues a permis la reconstitution actuelle avec sous-titres.
