Locarno o'clock - Day 8

The eighth day of Locarno74 would like to rush towards the night in Piazza Grande with Melissa Leo and Frank Grillo, the stars of Ida Red. But that would mean missing out on the Concorso internazionale, consisting today of Chema García Ibarra’s Espíritu Sagrado and Peter Brunner’s Luzifer. Cineasti del presente and Fuori concorso, on the other hand, are positively monstrous thanks to José Pablo Escamilla’s Mostro and Daniele Misischia’s Il mostro della cripta. And then, finally, Piazza Grande, with John Swab’s slice of American cinema preceded by the Premio Cinema Ticino bestowed upon Sonia Peng.
