Wall of Fame - Day 8

On the eighth night of the Festival, a full Piazza Grande warmly applauded the presence of Laurie Anderson, Locarno75's recipient of the Vision Award Ticinomoda. Before the screening of the restored version of her concert film Home of the Brave, the Piazza also showed the Swiss film Semret, whose director Caterina Mona attended with cast and crew, including Hermela Tekleab and Lula Mebrahtu. Also on the red carpet, Ludovico Bessegato, writer-director of Prisma, an Amazon Studios series premiering in Locarno, alongside actors Mattia Carrano and Lorenzo Zurzolo. Representing the Concorso internazionale were Ruth Mader, director of Serviam, and Hilal Baydarov, director of Sermon to the Fish.
