A silent city, mysteriously deprived of inhabitants, is crossed by a man who has come from a faraway country.

The camera pans across a grass field. There doesn’t seem to be any kind of human presence around, but there’s a man walking somewhere in the mist. In the beginning, we won’t be paying much attention to him, overwhelmed by the architecture Enea Zucchetti so impressively photographs. When the man arrives at Aldo Rossi’s San Cataldo Cemetery in Modena, the absence of human life, and of death itself, will become a mystery. He will then ask us − “Where is everybody?”.
