From July 30 to August 14, 2021, the Locarno Film Festival in collaboration with the Geneva International Film Festival (GIFF) present the largest production ever filmed in space, Space Explorers: The ISS Experience (episodes 1 and 2).
The Virtual Reality screenings will await you in the Cabina, the old and iconic projection booth in Piazza Grande, restored for the occasion by BONALUMI Engineering SA and the team of Image & Sound, and installed on the Rotonda by la Mobiliare.

Discover the first two episodes (Adapt & Advance) of the largest documentary production ever filmed in space, Space Explorers: The ISS Experience. A four-part immersive virtual reality series that invites audiences to join eight astronauts aboard the International Space Station. Filmed over two years with exclusive access to the crew, The ISS Experience offers an intimate look at the joys, wonders and dangers of life in orbit.
