UN ESCLUSIVO PROGRAMMA DI FILM IN REALTÀ VIRTUALE CURATO DAL GENEVA INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL (GIFF)

Il GIFF aprirà uno spazio di Realtà Virtuale all’interno degli spazi rinnovati de laRotonda, il villaggio del Festival del film Locarno. Ogni sera, dal 2 al 12 agosto, dalle 18 alle 22, verrà presentato un programma di nove film in realtà virtuale provenienti da tutto il mondo. Durante questa esperienza unica, a 360°, il pubblico potrà scoprire uno dei primi video musicali in VR, tuffarsi nel cuore di un famoso dipinto del pittore svizzero Arnold Böcklin o immergersi nelle riprese dell’ultimo film di Serge Bozon, Mrs Hyde, seguendo letteralmente Isabelle Huppert sul set mentre interagisce con il regista e la sua troupe.

Ashes to Ashes is a surreal, tragicomedy in virtual reality about how a dysfunctional family handles the dying wish of their grandfather. Seen through the ‘eyes’ of the deceased –the urn containing the ashes– this short VR film gives a unique point of view on a bizarre set of family relationships that are ready to blow up. We witness how each family member drops their pretences to reveal the full extent of their dishonesty. Ultimately, Ashes to Ashes is about choosing your own reality, your imagination, your world.

Serge Bozon's « Mrs Hyde » is the second feature-length to offer this 360° experience.

No Borders
