“I cannot say it's correct, your interpretation. Because I believe everyone has a right to their own interpretation. But your interpretation sounds really nice.”

“I don't know why I use zooming so frequently. That's just something I do. One day, I just wanted to use this point of view. I liked the results, and so I've kept doing it. When I use the zoom, there are a lot of reasons why: it makes a kind of mark in the scene […] In long scenes, the mark changes the rhythm. As for the critics' response to my films with zooming: I don't know, I've never asked.”

Kim Min-hee, actress

“For me, I simply very much enjoyed the process of filming. In the second half, I tried to convey lonelier, more difficult feelings than before, depending on the emotions and feelings that arise consequently, and trying to express these subtle changes, which was all very interesting to me. It was a very enjoyable experience.”
