Call for entries SÃO PAULO – LOCARNO INDUSTRY ACADEMY INTERNATIONAL 2018

The Locarno Festival and Cinema do Brasil announce today the call for entries for the São Paulo - Locarno Industry Academy International, which will have its 2nd edition during the 42nd São Paulo International Film Festival and the SP Audiovisual & Creative Market.

After the success of the first edition in 2017, the 2018 Sao-Paulo Locarno Industry Academy International will take place from October 24 to 28 during the São Paulo International Film Festival, in partnership with Cinema do Brasil, supported by Apex-Brasil. It will offer a group of 10 participants from Brazil and abroad (preferably Latin America) the chance to meet with guest-speakers and tutors from the Brazilian and International Cinema Industry, as well as fully enjoying the festival’s experience.

This 4 days workshop aims at helping young industry professionals in sales, marketing, online and traditional distribution, exhibition and programming, to understand the challenges of the independent movie industry within the Brazilian and the International scene.
