Luca Guadagnino as jury member for the Concorso internazionale

Italian actress Jasmine Trinca, originally invited to Locarno to serve on the jury for the Concorso internazionale, will be unable to participate in this edition of the Festival. Her place will be taken by Luca Guadagnino, who is presenting his latest documentary Inconscio italiano in Locarno’s Fuori concorso section. The Festival will also screen his feature Mundo civilizado (2003) in the Programmi speciali section.

Guadagnino will be judging the twenty feature films in competition alongside French actor and director Louis Garrel, German actress Sandra Hüller and Swiss filmmaker Bettina Oberli. Portuguese producer Paulo Branco is President of this year’s Concorso internazionale jury.
