Amidst the beautiful alpine landscapes and modern industrial architecture, the progress that Switzerland experienced in the 1960s concealed many social issues of global significance, such as immigration and xenophobia. Henry Brandt created five short films, presented during the 1964 National Exhibition in Lausanne, examining the country’s health and conscience.
