Los Angeles, 1984. A killer cyborg and a human soldier arrive from 2029: the former is programmed to kill young Sarah Connor, whose unborn son will save humanity from the dictatorship of the machines; the latter must protect her at all costs. The first step of the partnership between James Cameron and Gale Anne Hurd is a great sci-fi hit from the ’80s, as visceral as it is cyberpunk.
