Auf den Gipfeln der höchsten Berge der Erde lebt eine Pflanze, die sich vom perfekten Sonnenlicht ernährt. Man nennt sie... die Himalaya-Blume. Yuku verlässt ihre Familie, um diese Blume zu suchen. Sie möchte sie ihrer Grossmutter schenken. Um sie zu finden, wird Yukus Reise aber lang und voller Hindernisse sein. Doch auf ihrem Weg findet sie viele Freunde.
