Let’s party & chill

The Locarno71 experience will be enhanced by laRotonda and the Locarno Garden la Mobiliare, which will once again animate the festival nights. Kicking off July 27!

laRotonda will launch the #Locarno Experience with a 17 evenings program dedicated to music, fun, entertainment, ethnic cuisine, an open market and, new for this year, a Food Truck area. The program of concerts and musical entertainment, curated by RSI Rete Tre at the Grand Hotel Swisscom, will give space to emerging artists and established bands on a national and international level. Among the guests there will be the young Drunky Funk, winners of Palco ai giovani competition, the Sardinians Train To Roots, the Midnight Lovers, pure rockabilly energy. Also, Calibro 35, Guinnass, Pablo Nouvelle, Kaos, Drivin' Mad, Earth Beat Movement, the rising stars of Swiss pop Baba Shrimps, Black Beat Movement, a young Milanese collective and the St. Gallen-based Crimer, one of the most promising artists of the Swiss musical scene. On the evening of August 11 there will be a very mysterious Special Guest and on the following day the closing party with the Dj Marathon.
Moreover, there will be a Virtual Reality Corner in collaboration with the Geneva International Film Festival (GIFF), where to enjoy the latest VR films. Rete Tre will also present PardOn, a daily program, streaming live from laRotonda village, from 7 PM to 9 PM.

Locarno Garden la Mobiliare, the Festival's garden

On July 28, the Locarno Garden la Mobiliare will be held at the former Balli Park, in the heart of the Old Town. Rising at its centre, the colours explosion of the WHAT IF pavilion by la Mobiliare created by Swiss artist Kerim Seiler, a symbol for inspiration and creativity. In this very suggestive setting, the musical entertainment, coordinated by the Associazione Turba from Lugano, will offer an intimate and refined program. During 15 evenings musicians and SITTING Djs will perform instrumental and acoustic sets of twenty minutes, where the proximity to the public will offer a unique experience. The line-up includes talents from Ticino and some well-known Swiss and Italian artists, such as the musicians Florian Egli, Marco Selvaggio, Kety Fusco, Zeno Gabaglio, Ivan Bert and Enrico Degani. Among the DJs we’ll find: Stefano Ritteri, Batiment, Tom Alemanno, Rosanna Grüter and Yeleen. The offer will also be enriched by varied food district.
