Macià Florit Campins


Macià is a film director born in the island of Menorca that lives and works in Barcelona. There he graduated in Humanities and Literature at Pompeu Fabra University, and then he attended the MA in Documentary Cinema at IPECC-Matadero Media School in Madrid. Since 2014 he has been working as assistant director and editor for Elsabeth, a film production company located in Barcelona. After directing four short films, in 2018 he got a Reynolds Art Bursary to develop his first documentary feature film Native Rock at the UnionDocs’ Summer Documentary Lab in New York. Native Rock will premiere in 2020.
