Jacopo Quadri

Jacopo Quadri (Milan, 1964) graduated from the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia in Rome. He is the editor of all Mario Martone's films, from Death of a Neapolitan Mathematician (1992) to Capri Revolution (2018), and of all Gianfranco Rosi's documentaries with which he won the Golden Lion for Sacro GRA and The Golden Bear for Fuocoammare. He has collaborated with directors such as Bernardo Bertolucci, Paolo Virzì, Zhang Yuan, Apichatpong Weerasethakul, Francesca Archibugi, Marco Bechis, Mohammed Soudani. In 2013 his documentary as director La scuola d'estate about Luca Ronconi, in 2015 Il paese dove gli alberi volano was presented at the Venice Film Festival, and in 2017 Lorello and Brunello in competition at the Turin Film Festival where he won several prizes before being presented in Berlin Rotterdam and Nyon. Quadri, as well as being the producer of his films, produced in 2019 Gli Indocili by Ana Shametaj.
