Corti d’artista: Experience news visions

A special section of Pardi di Domani is devoted to the kind of experimental audiovisual product that would feel most at home in Art galleries or big Contemporary art exhibitions and fairs like Art Basel or the Venice Biennale. Appropriately called "Corti d’artista", it comprises three works that push the boundaries of vision into new realms,  with a more radical approach to the moving image.

Locarno is proud to present them inside its selection, so that they can be exposed to a more mainstream audience, in the spirit of artistic cross-contamination promoted by the Festival del Film. Titles include Boxing in the Philippine Islands by Raya Martin, a stylistic vision of one of the most popular sports in the Philippines , Sack Barrow by Ben Rivers, about the closing of a very special factory for disabled veterans in London, and The Cloud of Unknowing by Tzu Nyen Ho, a mystic trip between Middle Ages belief and contemporary life in Singapore.
