One of the most welcome surprises in Trainwreck is LeBron James, basketball champion playing as a supporting actor to the main character Bill Hader.

Two time NBA champion LeBron acts as himself with stunning comic ability and self-irony. James is just the latest player switching from playground to big screen: other great ones have tried to become actors in a somehow funny way.

Being basketball lovers as much as movie lovers, we’d like to enlist our favorite performances. With a necessary warning: their skills as basketball players are much, much better than their acting ones…
