The Day of Harvey, Gaspar and a lot of French cinema
The fourth day belongs, almost entirely, to him. To Harvey Keitel, a man with a thousand faces, one of the finest Hollywood embodiments of the actor's craft, with a 50-year career that has gone through all the facets of the human soul. But the first Saturday of #Locarno69 is also a lot more. It's a big batch of French cinema, starting with the two Piazza Grande films, Dans la forêt and Cessez-le-feu, and continuing with the exceptional cast of Les Fausses Confidences: Isabelle Huppert, Louis Garrel and Bulle Ogier. And then also Gaspar Noé, Matías Piñeiro, Tizza Covi-Rainer Frimmel and Fiona Tan, director of the fascinating Ascent.
