Terminal

Switzerland  ·  2019  ·  DCP  ·  Color  ·  13'  ·  o.v. Swiss German/English/Italian

An 80-year-old woman spends her time at a bus station. She’s waiting for the right moment to leave this place forever.

Lost, confused and limited by language, Terminal is a Groundhog Day of repetition, chance encounters and almost making it. Kim Allamand’s strong directorial style and clever framing creates a claustrophobic universe within the bus terminal, usually a place of transition and fleeting intimacy.
