Good, Morning Locarno - 4 | 8 | 2018

The first Saturday of Locarno71 is marked by heavy traffic. As always, Carlo Chatrian and Lorenzo Buccella help us navigate between Piazza Grande and the competitions. The Concorso internazionale showcases Radu Muntean's long takes in Alice T. and the surly resistance of the 1500s in Alberto Fasulo's Menocchio. The Concorso Cineasti del presente offers L'Époque and Familia sumergida, while Luca Ferri's Dulcinea plays in Signs of Life. And then there's the nightly rendez-vous in Piazza Grande, with Bruno Dumont receiving the Pardo d'onore and Antoine Fuqua ready to drench 8000 viewers in adrenaline with The Equalizer 2
