Industry Office: Carte Blanche Colombia

This year the Locarno Industry Office will see the launching of Carte Blanche, a new initiative presenting titles in post-production from a specific region.

Thanks to the support of Proimágenes Colombia and the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) the inaugural 2011 edition will spotlight Colombia. Carte Blanche will offer eight films in post-production from the selected country, each introduced by the producer of the project and presented to the many sales agents and buyers attending the Industry Days.

The screenings will take place Sunday August 7 at 10am at the Palavideo and are targeted at sales agents, festival programmers and film funders only. EgliFilm AG and Kodak support the Colombian film production with generous help in post-production.
The presentation will be hosted by Mike Goodridge (Screen International).

This latest initiative completes the set of the Festival’s industry portfolio, which now provides activities prioritizing buyers (Industry Screenings), producers (Open Doors) and sales agents (Carte Blanche).
