Domenico Pedroli was born in Lugano, Switzerland by an Italian father and a Thai mother. It was in Switzerland that he grew up and completed his studies in architecture in 2018 at USI. During this period, he had the good fortune to participate in courses by Régis Michel and Marco Müller, who introduced him to the magic of cinematic language. Meanwhile Domenico would travel to places around the world, camera in hand, allowing him to develop a point of view and reflect on a visual landscape. Last year he moved to Bangkok with the desire to know more about cinema by working in the industry. Since then he has worked as an intern and production assistant at Electric Eels Films, whose productions, such as Anocha Suwichakornpong’s By the Time It Gets Dark, have been screened at the Locarno Film Festival.
