Salvador Amores was born in Guanajuato, Mexico in 1995. He read Latin American Studies and History at the National University of Mexico. He works as an editor and screenwriter for the film cooperative Ríos de Nueva (Ruinas tu reino, Toda la luz que podemos ver) and shoots his own diary films on his Bolex. As a programmer, he curates the film series "cineclub15asientos" supported by the French Embassy of Mexico and recently started working as a programming assistant for the retrospectives at FICUNAM. He occasionally writes for film festival catalogues (FICUNAM, Riviera Maya Film Festival, Black Canvas).
