On a summer weekend, two friends spend Sunday by the lakeside: picnicking, boating, and lovers’ tiffs are depicted over the course of the day in a film that became a manifesto for expressive freedom and the lyricism of everyday life. Live musical accompaniment by saxophonist Michael Jaeger, alongside the KEROUAC Quartet.
