A woman reads aloud letters from a friend, a cameraman who works all round the world. His thoughts and observations concerning the relationship between film and reality, the end of History, the advent of the digital era are accompanied by images suggesting distant lands: Japan, Guinea, Cape Verde... A visual poem on the persistence of memory and the ambiguity of cinema.
