Through a succession of intertwined characters and anecdotes, Laurynas Bareisa depicts by little touches a complex social reality. With a brilliant use of the off-screen, it is the state of mind of a contemporary society that is revealed. While focusing on anxiety and despair, fear and threat are at the same time used to underline the importance of affection and care. Behind the unspoken, emotion appears.
