Selected in the Pardi di domani International competition 2018
A few pieces of stolen wood from a ruined apartment building. A stove, a sweater, a kid’s eraser. It’s winter time in Tbilisi and an accident has happened. Making use of small details, in a transcendental style and a poetic manner, with great visual and rhythmical precision, Georgian director David Pirtskhalava (2015 Pardino d’oro winner for Father) delivers a deeply touching social drama that goes beyond words.
