We The Savages

14.08.2019

After Fresh&Wild's concerts with Frost & Fog, Irina Mossi & Band and The Cavers, we'll be doing the small hours as the next day is August 15th! So here we are back in Rotonda two real champions of local electronics, for what looks like a very wild night! We The Savages don't need any great introduction, but if you haven't done it yet, listen to their latest single Super Sexy Girls.

Frost & Fog

14.08.2019 | 19:00-20:00

There is something magical and mystical about their music: Frost & Fog are a folk pop duo from Thun, consisting of Karen Frauchiger and Adrian Graf. Their voices are perfectly coordinated, the harmonies in their songs go deep under the skin. Their new single "Let Them Go" - a catchy and folky-popish forerunner to their next EP, with which Frost & Fog want to make the final breakthrough. On the Fresh & Wild stage in Locarno they will perform with a full band to captivate the audience in laRotonda.

Irina Mossi & Band

14.08.2019 | 20:30-21:30

Soul soaked and hot ground Irina Mossi is not easy to grasp: sometimes the singer from Biel indulges in sun-drenched reggae. Sometimes she whips her powerful vocal organ with old classics of black music, or fills and files out stretched ballads so that the tones flow like oil and are soft like velvet. The frontwoman is accompanied by a band quartet, including the Bernese Jonas Zahnd, who has been performing on the Swiss stages for years under the stage name "Jones". Irina Mossi & Band - that's musical urgency, but quite leaned back. Because the laid back perspective is the best way to understand soul.

The Cavers

14.08.2019 | 22:00-23:15

They have only been making music together since 2016, but with "Before the Tide Pulls Us In" and "Down A Mountain" they have already released two EPs and an impressive number of live shows. The Cavers from Bern are Alan Hugo, Lia Low, Yanick Steiner and Patrick Unternährer. And together they have created their own niche somewhere between Indie, Folk and Americana. Their harmonious, light-footed and poetic songs form the perfect soundtrack for a cosy summer day in Locarno.
