Albert Serra and Vincenç Altaió of Historia de la meva mort
Albert Serra (regista)
On Dracula:
“When I was promoting my film on Don Quichotte in Romania a producer told me to do the same with Dracula. I wasn’t interested in Dracula. I hated fantastical movies. That idea didn’t leave, it slowly came back to my mind. So I mixed it with something that I love.”
On his cast:
“I’m doing the film in the same spirit of the beginning. I hate professional actors.
I like to film with innocent actors.”
On post-production:
“My movies are unfuckable because the original material is free. Coherence comes with editing, we cannot compare the script with the feature. You don’t have traces. “
Vincenç Altaió (actor)
“In Europe we all are Casanova, in Spain we are Don Juan.”
