Retrospettiva George Cukor in Turin
The Museo Nazionale del Cinema in Turin will present, from 9 to 30 September, 17 films of the George Cukor Retrospective.
With the selection "Sophisticated Ladies. Tribute to George Cukor", Turin's National Film Museum will pay tribute, at the Cinema Massimo, to the Hollywood master George Cukor (1899-1983). A Bill of Divorcement (1932) will inaugurate the film season on Monday, 9 September, at 16:30. Wednesday, 11 September, Artistic Director Carlo Chatrian will introduce the screening of The Philadelphia Story (1940), which will begin at 20:30.
The Retrospective of the 66th Festival del film Locarno, supported by the Swiss Post and presented in collaboration with the Cinémathèque suisse, Turin’s National Cinema Museum, and the Film Society of Lincoln Center in New York, was curated by Roberto Turigliatto.
