The new Pardi di domani selection committee has been confirmed.
The Pardi di domani selection committee for the 67th edition of the Festival del film Locarno has been confirmed.
Alessandro Marcionni, head of the section, will preside over a committee comprising Gonzalo de Pedro, Sylke Gottlebe and Bruno Quiblier. The committee will assist Artistic Director Carlo Chatrian, in selecting short films.
Based in Madrid, Gonzalo de Pedro is director of the online festival Márgenes, and has worked with the festivals Punto de Vista and Distrial, among others. He is also a university professor and a film critic for Rolling Stone, El Cultural, Cuadernos de cine.
Sylke Gottlebe, from Germany, was previously director of the Filmfest Dresden, and of the German Film Association for 11 years; from 2004 to 2013 she was a member of the German Federal Film Board (FFA) and of various institutions involved in film promotion.
Bruno Quiblier, a French programmer and distributor, has been responsible for programming shorts at the Festival Tous Ecrans in Geneva, and is now director of the association Base-Court in Lausanne and president of the French association Short.
