Around the world in 14 films

Good Luck, by Ben Russell

Around The World in 14 Films, also known as the Festival of Festivals, takes place every year in Berlin with the goal of representing the panorama of international independent cinema, with the screening of films from all over the world.

The event, taking place from November 23rd to December 2nd 2017, will also feature the screening of a selection of films presented at the 70th edition of the Locarno Festival, offering once again the chance to see some of the movies screened in Locarno last August:

Ta peau si lisse by Denis Côté (Concorso internazionale); Mrs. Fang by Wang Bing (Pardo d’oro, Concorso internazionale); Good Luck by Ben Russell (Concorso internazionale), Phantasiesätze by Dane Komljien (Signs of Life); Freiheit by Jan Speckenbach and Lucky by John Carroll Lynch (both Concorso internazionale).

Also featured in this year's program, the movie Hema Hema: Sing me a song while I wait?  by Kyentse Norbu, selected for the Open Doors section of the 2016 edition of the Locarno Festival.

The films Good Luck by Ben Russell and Phantasiesätze by Dane Komljen will be screened together, in occasion of a "Matinée", on Sunday, November 26th, at 12 PM.
