2006 South East Asia

In 2006 Open Doors was entitled Connecting Cinema from South East Asia. Eleven projects were chosen from Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore and Indonesia.

The Award-winning projects

For the first time, thanks to further funding from the Swiss Foreign Ministry’s Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC), at the end of the workshop two grants for development and production, each worth 50,000 Swiss Francs, were awarded. The decision as to which projects received the awards was made by the Festival in conjunction with the Swiss fund visions sud est.
