Antoine Fuqua’s most recent release was The Magnificent Seven (2016). Previously, he directed the boxing drama Southpaw (2015) and The Equalizer (2014). Fuqua’s critically acclaimed drama Training Day (2001) earned an Academy Award for Denzel Washington for Best Actor. He has also directed such films as Olympus Has Fallen (2013), Brooklyn’s Finest (2009), and King Arthur (2004). He is currently executive producer on the new FOX medical drama The Resident (2018). He is also directing an untitled HBO Entertainment multi-part documentary film about the life and career of Muhammad Ali.
