Pardi di domani: Concorso nazionale
Aline
Alban lives in a ski station with his mother. Every night, the teenager runs off to be with Julien – the boy who, strangely, shares a first name with the hero of the novel he’s avidly reading.
By choosing a classicist form and an assumed archetypal writing of the characters, Simon Guélat pays tribute to the Swiss writer Charles-Ferdinand Ramuz and makes a very touching short film, highlighted by an excellent direction of actors but also moving and impressive first and second roles. From his short film Cabane, selected in Locarno69 to this new movie, Guélat is a young Swiss director to follow.
