1973. The people of New Canaan, Connecticut are getting ready to celebrate Thanksgiving, but as the small town has to deal with an ice storm, the Hood family is torn apart by adultery, depression and existential doubt. Adapted from Rick Moody’s novel of the same name, The Ice Storm is a portrait of 1970s America, caught in between Watergate and sexual liberation.
