The money-making plans of residents on a collective farm are frustrated when they discover that Irimiás, presumed dead, is set to return to the village.

The film has returned to the screen at Berlin and Locarno, the festivals that launched it 25 years ago, on the occasion of the restoration by Arbelos in collaboration with The Hungarian Filmlab.
