Main partner since 1981. Through joint initiatives such as the Prix du Public UBS and the Audience Academy program, we anticipate the needs of future festival audiences. Together, we have redesigned the official app to ensure maximum accessibility to content, and since 2022, everyone can enjoy content year-round by listening to the Futurespectives podcast.

Together we are experimenting with new ways of distributing our offer: for example, by making part of our program accessible to those who cannot be in Locarno through blue Play, the free media library of blue TV. Or by creating the Locarno Film Festival Professor for the Future of Cinema and Audiovisual Arts at the University of Lugano.

Together we are committed to the younger generation, for example through an area dedicated to audiovisual education, Locarno Kids, and the Atelier du Futur, an educational experience for pre-teens. Not to mention the Rotonda by la Mobiliare, sustainably designed with the intention of creating a place of encounter and dialogue for festival goers and the local public.
Main partner since 2023. Together we encourage creative innovation with the First Feature Award, given to the most striking debut, and the development of newly conceived spaces during the Festival.
Destination partner since 1981. In addition to sponsoring the Pardo alla carriera, the Tourist Board makes possible the publication of the Piazza Grande Guide, a widely distributed magazine for a Festival experience that is also about discovering and enhancing the area.
