Jacqueline Lentzou (Athens, 1989) is a writer and director whose cinematic language involves finding poetry in (seemingly) mundane premises and/or creating visual poetry through word and image association. She experiments with formats, duration and feelings. She has directed four shorts that have screened in numerous festivals and won awards, the most prestigious being the Leica Cine Discovery Award at Semaine de la Critique in Cannes for Hector Malot: The Last Day of the Year (2018).
