Three middle-aged friends reunite for the first time in years. Each of them sets out to confess unexpressed feelings, but their vacation takes a surprising turn when the undercurrent of their past lives threatens to resurface.

I am primarily interested in exploring how we choose to remember things in our own way, and as time passes, how those fantasies sometimes become realities; the idea that certain things, however meaningless, can reveal their meaning in time.

Tre amici di mezza età si ritrovano per la prima volta dopo molti anni. Ognuno di loro inizia a confessare sentimenti inespressi, ma la loro vacanza prende una piega inaspettata quando i trascorsi del loro passato riaffiorano in superficie.

Drei Freunde mittleren Alters treffen sich zum ersten Mal seit Jahren wieder. Jeder von ihnen möchte unausgesprochene Gefühle ansprechen. Doch ihr Urlaub nimmt eine überraschende Wendung, als die Verstrickungen ihrer vergangenen Leben aufzutauchen drohen.

Trois amis d'âge mûr se retrouvent pour la première fois depuis des années. Chacun d'entre eux se met à avouer des sentiments inexprimés, mais leurs vacances prennent un tour surprenant lorsque le spectre de leurs vies passées menace de refaire surface.

Mi interessa soprattutto esplorare in che modo scegliamo di ricordare le cose e, più tardi, come queste fantasie diventino a volte realtà; l'idea che certe cose, per quanto insignificanti, possano rivelare il loro significato nel tempo.

Je m'intéresse surtout à la façon dont nous choisissons de nous souvenir des choses et comment, avec le temps, ces fantasmes deviennent parfois réalité; l'idée que certaines choses, même insignifiantes, peuvent révéler leur sens plus tard.
